There has been a plethora of composing and recording recently at the Soundcave studio and from this activity there are plans for two new releases in the upcoming months.
One of the two release's is a followup to the 2000 cd release Drifted Into Deeper Lands(released originally on Groove in Europe - re-released on Harmonic Resonance). The music here is all inspired by the arid and beautiful landscapes of the southwestern US one of a few continual sources of inspiration for my music. The release will feature everything from quiet serene twilight tapestries to slightly percussive passages. Much of the music is again inspired by my favorite compositional tool my Ensoniq ESQ-1.
Release number two is focused on quiet passages and meant for meditation and relaxation. This will be almost beat-less music of the ambient nature with intent on drawing the listener into a lucid and relaxed mindset. I have been meaning to release music in this style/mood for a long time and in doing so hope to perhaps begin a series of releases in this style.
